Tokyo, 1996: After the discovery of Captain Marvel, SHIELD starting searching for’ potential recruits for the Avengers program. It was discovered that Logan was still somehow alive and young - this prompted SHIELD to start keeping track of Logan.

Last known location: Antarctica, 2008: Bruce Banner attempts to commit suicide in Antarctica, when The Hulk intervenes. Hulk crosses paths with Logan, and a battle ensues. SHIELD agents were unable to find any of the two after the fight ended.
